Looking to enjoy your favorite PBS shows and documentaries on demand? Setting up PBS on your Roku streaming device is super easy. Here’s how:
1. Find the PBS App
- Go to your Roku’s home screen.
- Navigate to the Streaming Channels section (sometimes called the Channel Store).
- Use the Search function to find the “PBS” app.
2. Download the App
- Select the PBS app from your search results.
- Press Add channel to download the app.
3. Get Your Activation Code
- Once installed, open the PBS app.
- You’ll see an activation code displayed on your TV screen. Make note of it.
4. Activate
- On a computer, phone, or tablet, visit https://www.pbs.org/activate
- Enter the activation code from your TV screen.
- Click Continue.
- Sign in to your PBS account (if you have one) or create a new one
Your Roku is now linked with your PBS account, giving you access to a vast library of PBS content.
Important Note: If you have a PBS Passport subscription, make sure to sign in with the same account associated with your subscription to access all the Passport benefits.
